More than a nuisance
Cockroaches walk through drains and rubbish and then across your benches, spreading bacteria as they go. In a lot of homes they also make asthma and allergies worse, especially in kids. And they breed quickly, so a couple you spot at night can become an infestation before long.
The two we see most in Toowoomba are the small German cockroach, which loves warm kitchens and appliances, and the larger American cockroach that comes up through drains and subfloors. Each needs a slightly different approach, which is why a proper treatment beats a supermarket spray every time.
