Catch termites before they cost you
Toowoomba and the Darling Downs sit in an active termite region, and most homeowners never see the early signs. By the time termites are obvious, the damage is usually done. A visual timber pest inspection finds the activity and the conditions that attract it, so you can act before it becomes a big repair bill.
Razor Pest Control has inspected homes across the region since 2012. We take our time, we explain what we find in plain English, and you get a written report with photos you can keep, hand to a buyer, or give to your insurer.
What we check
What a termite inspection covers
Interior
Walls, skirtings, door frames, wet areas and anywhere termites like to travel unseen.
Exterior
Perimeter, weep holes, slab edges and entry points around the home.
Subfloor & roof void
The hidden spaces where activity often starts, where accessible.
Yard & timbers
Fences, decks, retaining walls, stumps and trees that can bridge termites to the house.
Moisture & conditions
Damp and conducive conditions that draw termites in, so you can fix the cause.
Written report
A clear report with photos and recommendations, sent through after the visit.
When should you get one?
- Every year. An annual inspection is the standard recommendation, and the cheapest insurance you can buy.
- Before you buy. A pre-purchase timber pest inspection tells you what you are really buying.
- If you notice signs. Mud tubes, hollow-sounding timber, tight-fitting doors or discarded wings all mean call now.
Found something? We also do termite treatment and barriers, so we can move straight from inspection to protecting your home.
